Our clinic offers the following treatments
Professional treatments and wellness therapies to suit everyone’s needs!
Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy, or essential oils therapy, is using a plant’s aroma-producing oils (essential oils) to treat disease. Essential oils are taken from a plant’s flowers, leaves, stalks, bark, rind, or roots. The oils are mixed with another substance (such as oil, alcohol or lotion) and then applied to the skin, sprayed in the air or inhaled. Aromatherapy originated in Europe in the early 1900s.
Our high-quality aromatherapy range is available as single oils or essential oil blends that are able to be made up into creams, room sprays and massage oils. We can advise on personalised blends as well as stocking pre-made formulations to treat a wide range of conditions. We also have a sensual range.

Cranial Osteopathy
Cranial Osteopathy is a subtle form of osteopathic treatment that uses very gentle pressure to encourage the release of stresses throughout the body. It is called ‘cranial’ because treatment often involves the head, although other parts of the body such as the spine and tailbone can also be involved.
A cranial osteopath can feel the very small fluctuations of movement within the body called involuntary motion. To the osteopath, this feels like a gentle expansion and contraction of all the tissues, occurring 7 – 14 times a minute. This involuntary motion can be easily disturbed by any form of trauma, such as a difficult birth, a car accident, knocks and falls and general illness. Gradually the body may accumulate these strains to the point that symptoms start to show.
Cranial Osteopathy is suitable for all ages and many conditions. As it is an extremely gentle treatment it is even suitable for newborn babies and the very elderly.
What conditions is cranial osteopathy used for?
Cranial osteopathy is used for a wide range of problems in both children and adults including constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, seizures, scoliosis, migraine headaches, disturbed sleep cycles, asthma, neck pain, sinus infections, TMJ syndrome, Ménière’s disease and ear problems, and for children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) who have experienced birth trauma or head trauma.

Herbal medicine
Herbal medicine is used to treat a range of health problems and to enhance wellbeing. Herbal medicine — also called botanical medicine or phytomedicine — refers to using a plant’s seeds, berries, roots, leaves, bark, or flowers for their medicinal value. Herbalism has a long tradition of use outside of conventional medicine. It is becoming more mainstream as science explores these herbs and validates their use in the treatment and prevention of disease.
Herbal medicine aims to return the body to a state of natural balance, so that it can heal and regulate itself.
Different herbs act on different systems of the body, with many having actions on multiple systems. It takes the skill of a highly experienced practitioner to carefully blend the right combination of herbs for you. Herbs can act on the body as powerfully as pharmaceutical drugs and need to be treated with care and knowledge of all potential interactions. Our clinic has a number of highly qualified herbalists and our store staff are all trained in herbal medicine to provide you with the best information.

Genetic testing
By doing a simple once-only saliva test, you can discover your DNA blueprint and learn how well your genes are matched to your present diet and lifestyle.
By assessing your genetic profile your specialist practitioner can teach you how to optimise your diet and modify your lifestyle to ‘turn off’ or down-regulate genes that have the potential to cause harm and ‘turn on’ or up-regulate the genes that help to prevent disease. This state-of-the-art genetic testing truly is predictive and preventative medicine at its best.
Matching our DNA with our diet and lifestyle, known as nutrigenomics, is the key to the exciting new realm of personalised wellness medicine.
Genetic testing is especially relevant for those who have the following conditions:
• cardiovascular conditions/heart disease
(includes family history)
• raised cholesterol levels
• diabetes or pre-diabetes
• metabolic syndrome
• values life and longevity
Naturopathy
It is believed most diseases are caused by what we do and don’t eat. Add a poor diet to a stressful, busy life and you’re likely to create an unnatural balance leading to chronic health problems.
Naturopathy seeks to find the root cause and focuses on the entire body. It uses natural therapies to correct imbalances rather than eliminate or restrain the symptoms.
Naturopathy is considered as one of the best alternative therapies for patients experiencing side effects or complications with conventional medicine.
We have a number of highly trained, experienced naturopaths working at our store and clinic. An initial clinic appointment will require one hour. During this time we take an investigative approach to look for the source of the health issue concerned. This may involve testing or referring for further tests.
