Genetic Testing

for Optimal Health and Aging

Decades of research into human genomics has paved the way for genomic pathway testing. Essentially this means testing your DNA profile in order to understand your genetic strengths and weaknesses.

Genetic abnormalities (or SNPs) are inherited from your mother, father or both and form your gene profile. Through the international research a specific set of SNPs have been identified that have the potential to disrupt major pathways in the body and initiate disease. These pathways include how well we methylate, process fats and sugars, detoxify, lose/gain weight, and control inflammation to name just a few.

Further exciting news to come through from this research, is that these abnormalities in your genes do not need to be expressed. In other words you are not your genes – but rather your genes express themselves (or not) when triggered by your diet, your stress level, your environment, and your activity levels.

Your genes may load the ‘gun’, but it is your diet, lifestyle, stress and other environmental exposures that pull the ‘trigger’ that cause disease and premature ageing . . .

Genomic pathway testing focuses on testing for the SNPs that we know can have a significant impact on health and healthy ageing. With this essential information, we can then provide the appropriate dietary, lifestyle and supplements to prevent the activation of these genes, or reduce their current expression.

Every SNP that is tested for has a dietary, lifestyle and/or a supplement plan to reduce genetic expression of these comprised pathways.

By doing a simple once-only saliva test, you can discover your DNA blueprint and learn how well your genes are matched to your present diet and lifestyle, as well as how you can unlock the full potential of your current and future health and wellness.
